Guest lecture: The rationale of the institution - ne bis in idem/res judiciata in the national and international context?
On Monday, April 17, 2017, at 16.15 Dr. Christoffer Wong, Lund University will give a lecture on the topic "The rationale of the institution - ne bis in idem/res judiciata in the national and international context? ".
The lecture will start with the rationale of the institution of ne bis in idem/res judiciata as such and then examine the particular functions that this principle is supposed to serve in the national and international context, which is complicated by the application of the principles in a European Union context. The lecture will therefore focus on the structure of the legal arguments rather than the detailed application of the principle in any one legal system.
Lecture is open for everyone. Pre-registration not needed.
